Work work work and Alto Bio Bio

This summer I probably will be working, as I always do on vacation. I enjoy the idea of work and know people and earn some money for the future. But this year I wont work at any place, like I usually do (waiter, forest worker, real virtuality manager, etc). This summer I will try to do my internship for journalist.

I've thought a lot about this where I am gonna work? when I will start? Its going to be dificult? I have a lot of questions that I've been responding through the time.

I'd like to work in TVN. It's still been a public channel, probably It doesn't noticeable to much, but Is the most public channel of all others. 

Other place that I'd like to work is viax. Its look like a good channel to start on tv. They a have a lot of tv shows that aren't similar like the other ones that you can find in the national tv. It looks like if they were experimenting with tv. That's good to me because I wanna Experiment too.

As I've been doing for the past 3 years, In the end of summer, I'd like to go to hiking some mountains near my town, Los Ángeles. Cañicura, Pirquinco, La Mula, El Barco are places that not to much people know despite the fact that they are paradise on earth. They are Big lakes on the Cordillera de Los Andes, near to Provincia Alto Bio Bio. Those are my favorite places that I've been.

A delicatessen without competition

Let's be clear. I am a food fan, not the first one but I am definitely in the top ten. Any kind of food is good for me no matter the taste, the origin, the colours, or anything.

Obviously there are some food that I didn't have the pleasure of taste them ¡There's a lot of dishes in the world!

If I start to talk about my favourite food, it comes to my head the image of my mom. She taught me the love for the Italian food. She isn't Italian or half Italian or half half Italian, but she really likes the pasta. Her most iconic dish is "Tallarines con crema y pollo" or "Tagliatelle con crema e pollo" in Italian. ¡Its delicious! But... is not my favourite food, is the second one. Its similar to my favourite food.

My favourite food is "Tallarines con crema y atún" ¡O God! Just think on them my stomach start to yell for a bit of that delicatessen. Every sigh after think on that dish it's dedicated for the days that I didn't eat it.

This is a dish that eat at home when my mom isn't around. She didn't like it. The first time that I taste them was in a camp o scouts. There I spend the entire morning making a base for our patrol corner, so we didn't have time for a breakfast, and we eat "Tallarines con crema y atún" on the lunch. I repeat dish.

They are the perfect combination between softness and salt.

 

Publicity and my projects

As a journalist you can do a lot of things, and work in a lot of places. That's one of the things that I like about this career. There is a world of possibilities.

One of my first ideas was to work on Television or Radio. But as I was passing trought the asignatures of my career, I started to realize that It wasn't what I wanted to do the rest of my life. ¡Those guys don't have life! Don't bad understand me I like to work, In fact I have two.

I like journalism, but to me the most important thing is comunication. That's why I would like to work on public relations. It's not so stressful and it will give time to do investgation on subjects that I really like to work on and not in those that my boss will force me to do.

I reallly want to have a future with time to spend on my ideas of films and novels that I'd like to share with the world.

Sumo The best band you will ever listen to

All the music of the world is good. I am one of those people that think that we listen music depending on the mood that we are. If I am happy I listen to something like "Se despierta la ciudad - Vicentico" or "A-Punk - Vampire Weekend". If I am sad I'd like to listen "Huke - Julius Popper". If I am feeling seductive and in the mood to go out looking for party I like to listen something like "You sexy thing - Hot Chocolate" or "Ladies Nigth - Kool and the Gang".

But there is a band from the 1980s that "I can't forget, that it's in my head" (Heroine - Sumo).  This band have songs (or "had" they are not together anymore) for every state of humor. They have reggae songs to chill like "No Good" or "Que me Pisen" or "Reggae de Paz y Amor". They have themes of rock that can turn you up like "Mejor no Hablar de Ciertas Cosas"  or "Estallando Desde el Océano". Songs to be sad for loove "Breaking Away". Its name is Sumo. This argentinian band is so unique.

His leader, Luca Prodan was an italian that born in Roma. He lived his youth in England. There he went to a lot of punk concerts in the 1960s - 1970s when England was passing through a punk wave. Sex Pistols, The Ramones, Iggy Pop are some of the bands that influenced the ear of Luca. But the most important was Joy Division, a post-punk band of the 1970s. In fact the first album of Sumo was called "Divididos por la Felicidad" in mention to the brittsh band and its meaning in spanish.

For me it is the best band that I've ever heard. The saxophone and guitar solos are deligthful. Sometimes I stop to listen them for a while, but I always come back to listen the great songs. Its a band undervalued and known by a few people.

Brave women

Yesterday when I was in classroom I fell sleep watching this movie. It wasn't because I didin't enjoy the movie, it was because I was really tired. However I got to watch the first fifteen minutes and the last 15 minutes. And they help me to understand the hole plot, and more important, they help me to understand why Carey Mulligan was chosen to the principal role of Maud.

There are two films that this actress play almost the same role. The first one is Drive by Nicolas Winding and The great Gatsby by Baz Luhrman. On this films Carey played the role of an insecure girl with a constant figth between her thoughts and her happiness. Her face express the felling of a girls that is starting to change her paradigms. In the movie she really know how to evolve the character from an insecure person to a decided one.

There is one thing about the movie that I didn't like too much. In my humble opinion I think that the actors and the actress in general didn't know how to play characters from that century. I don't know, and I can't say that this is a trouble of the actors and actress or a trouble of the screenwriters. The only thing I know is that they don't make me fell that I was watching a film of two centuries ago. Maybe they did unpurpose. Maybe they wanted to make us, the spectators, realize that it is a figth that the women keep figthing.

My favourite scene is when that girl stands in front of the prince of England while he was on the race. She gave her life for the cause. That is one of the greatest acts of gift to the cause.

Without doubt it is a film that you have to watch.

The perfect way to (really) know your friends

In my life I had a lot of good vacation. I have always been really greatfull about the journeys that I had with my family or friends. I can't remember a bad trip with them. That is why it is kind of difficult to me choose one vacation. However there is one in particular that if I had the opportunity to repeat it I'll do it like a thousand times.

The summer of 2017 - 2018, exactly in January of 2018, a group of 13 university partners went from Santiago to my house in Los Ángeles located in the region of Bio Bio. They stayed for six days and we have a lot of fun, but we also had a lot of disagreements to. It was like a "reality show" but without cameras.

The good times that we spend there were when we go out to a party called Cabala. This party we had after the New Year celebration with all the leftovers of new year. I was in a plot near to pitch of football. There was a dj, good music and a lot of my friends of Los Ángeles. We had a really good time. The parties in my house were great too.

Other good time was when we go to the Salto Chico. It's a part of the Laja river that is located behind the Salto del Laja. It's a unknown place for all the people. The way to get there is made by the steps who knows the place. You have to get through a native forest. It's really beautiful.

     

                                                                             

The bad time that we spend there made us realize about the bad parts of people that we call friend. I'm not saying that we didn't know each other, what I want to say is that we didn't know our bad sides. Those sides comes to light. When you live for more than 3 days with your partners. You star to see some attitudes that you never had the oportunity to see, and you can be agree with that or disagree with that.

Despite the bad time it was a great way to know my friends.

Italy: the start and the end

The world is big enougth to spend a life traveling around it. If I had to choose I´ll buy a motocicle and ride for all over the higways. I said that because it's very dificult to me to choose one country to visit. They are all different and their differences make them all beautifull.
Despite some of them have wars, hunger, poverty, hate, somehow they still keep secrets that I would like to find out.

                                             

But I know that I am in an English class, and I have to choose one country to talk about. So I will write about the first country that I like to visit first, and at the end Italy.
Those hills Oh those hills... They make me wanna cry. Sometimes I have a dream of a good conversation with a glass of wine, on the top of a hill seeing a sunset, using a button down shirt open up to the third button.

Everything I have learned of the country of my dreams I have taken from movies or TV. The landscapes, the culture, the wine, their attitude to face life troubles. The Italians have a lot of power when they speak, a lot of courage. They can make you change your mind in few minutes, or at least they make you forget why you are fighting for. I think that this attitude is force by the two World War they get through. Of course that this is only a thought made by the Cultural Industries.

Another thing that I like about this country is its passion for football. They have a lot of greatest football teams, like Inter de Milan, Juventus, Napoli, between others. 

                                                                               

Their food is also excelent. The pastas, the pizzas, the cheese oh... the cheese. I woulkd like to visit one of its greatest ancient buildings  like the Coliseo and eat a big Pizza made by true Italian chef
